"I never considered you the type..." Gigi murmured softly as she held his gaze. "But I'm happy, she needs all her boys."

Jeroud grinned softly. "Me neither," he said, stroking her soft little head which was now covered in dark soft hairs. Beautiful, was all he could think.

Giselle kissed Phoebe's little cheek and stayed there on the floor with her, Jeroud sitting right beside them. She then heard the soft open and close of the front door, she knew Alex was home and she couldn't wait to tell him about today.

Alec sighed happily when he finally arrived back home. His muscles were tired and sore from the day he had spent working and being back home where he knew Giselle and their daughter were waiting for him. He didn't call out right away, careful just in case Phoebe was asleep already.

"We're in Phoebe's room." Giselle called out quietly, loud enough where she knew it wouldn't stir Phoebe but Alec would hear her. For a slight moment her eyes looked at Jeroud and then at her baby girl.

"We're?" Alec repeated curiously, putting his jacket away before he quietly headed up stairs. "Hey," he said, a little surprised when he saw Jeroud on the floor with Giselle and Phoebe.

Giselle smiled lovingly when she saw Alec. "Hey, you have no idea what you missed today." She said excitedly, picking up Phoebe from the floor and passing her over to Jeroud. "Phoebe said mamma and she stood up on her own!" She said in a hushed excitement. "And Jeroud played with her which was the biggest surprise of all."

Alec smiled, raising his eyebrows in surprise. "Damn I miss all the good stuff," he chuckled softly, wrapping his arms around Giselle and pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. "Think Phoebs will be up for it again?'

"I'm pretty sure when she wakes up from her nap she will have as much energy as she did." Giselle said. "Me and Jer also though it would be a good idea to go out for dinner tonight. All of us." She added quietly as she watched Jeroud put Phoebe on her crib carefully. It actually made her smile.

Alec gently rubbed Giselle's hip. "Yeah, that does sound like a good idea," he said, "Are you bringing Mimi along?" he asked Jer.

Giselle looked at Jeroud curiously as he turned around. I think they had both forgotten about Mimi for a while.

"Yeah, I'll call her see if she's up for it," Jeroud said, grinning a little. He definitely didn't want to be stuck with his brother and Giselle alone.

"That would be nice, I haven't seen her in a while." She said with a grin, a small one because... She didn't want to think of that because.

"Want some alone time with Phoebs?" Jeroud asked with a small grin, after things had been quiet for a little while.

"I'm going to shower..." Giselle whispered and kissed Alec's cheek softly. "You boys share her." She added before she left the room quietly.

"Okay," Alec said, giving her hand a small squeeze, watching Giselle before she left the room.

"So um..." Jeroud said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah..."

Phoebe cooed softly in her sleep, moving her little hands as she turned in the sheets. Her little dreams filled with a story her mommy had read her.

Alec smiled a little and moved closer to her crib, thankful for a distraction. "Hey princess," he murmured to her, pulling up a chair next to the crib and gently taking her little hand in his. Phoebe cooed softly and tightened her grip around one of his fingers.

Phoebe sighed sontently at the voice of her daddy, her eyes fluttering open to see him there but she didn't see mommy or her uncle around. Still she smiled and made an attempt to get up.

Alec chuckled softly, placing his hand gently on her stomach. "Easy sweetheart," he said, smiling down at her.

Phoebe giggled and covered her face cutely, her big green eyes staring at him before she blew him a kiss.

Alec laughed softly and smiled,leaning down to press a soft kiss to her cheek, making her giggle.

"Wow, you're such a dad," Jeroud said, grinning, his arms folded over his chest.

Alec chuckled. "Can't help it with her." he replied, looking down at his daughter lovingly.

"Mwa-mwa!" Phoebe said with a giggle as she clapped her hands, looking up at the two of them with pretty green eyes much like Giselle's.

Alec smiled wide and picked her up gently. "Oh that was perfect, princess," he said, kissing her cheek. "Can you say it again?"

Phoebe looked at him curiously and giggled. "Mwa-mwa!" She said louder, clapping her hands. Her arms reaching for Jeroud .
